How the AI Coach Works

What the AI coach is

The AI coach is an in-app feature that replies to your messages. The replies are generated by a language model. A language model is a computer system that produces text based on patterns. No person writes the replies. No employee or coach is on the other side of the chat.

The model uses two pieces of context to shape its answers: your personality type and a summary of your result. This means the replies try to match your result, but they are still generated text.

You must be 18 or older to use the AI coach. The rest of the app is for people aged 13 and over. The AI coach has an extra age gate.

What we send to the AI provider

To create a reply, a third-party AI provider processes some information. Only these items are sent:

• the messages you write in the AI coach
• your personality type
• a summary of your result

These items are used to generate the reply. Your full test answers are not sent to the AI provider. The provider sees a summary, not the complete set of your answers. Nothing else from your account is sent for this purpose.

What the AI coach is not

The AI coach is not a therapist, counsellor, or doctor. It is not a lawyer or a financial adviser. It is not a medical service. It does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. It is also not a crisis service. The replies cannot replace a qualified professional.

In a crisis

If you are in danger, or if you are thinking about harming yourself, stop using the coach. Call your local emergency number or contact a crisis service in your country. Do not wait for a generated reply. The AI coach cannot provide emergency help. It will not contact anyone for you.

Limits of the replies

The model can be wrong. It can produce text that sounds confident and still be incorrect. Do not treat a reply as a fact about yourself or about anyone else. Do not make health, legal, or financial decisions based on an AI reply. A generated reply is not a diagnosis, not a legal opinion, and not financial advice. If a reply feels harmful or confusing, stop and talk to a qualified person.

How your conversations are stored

Your AI coach messages are stored on our systems. This lets the conversation continue across sessions. We keep coach messages for 90 days. You can clear them at any time before that. If you delete your account, your coach messages are removed as part of the account deletion.

We also store feedback and AI reports when you report a problem. Those records are kept for support and safety review.

How to report a bad reply

If a reply is wrong, harmful, or upsetting, report it. You can contact privacy@personalityview.com. Tell us what went wrong. We keep feedback and AI reports for support and safety review. That review helps us improve the AI coach and check for harmful output.

Your choices

You can clear your AI coach messages at any time. You can stop using the AI coach at any time. Choosing not to use the AI coach is how you withdraw consent for this feature. You can also delete your account in the app. Account deletion removes your coach messages.

AI features and your plan

AI coach access is part of the subscription plans. It is not part of a lifetime purchase. We store your entitlement state so we know who has paid for what. This is how the app decides whether the AI coach is available to you. We also record AI usage counters and cost. These are used for budget caps and abuse limits.
